Refund & Cancellation Policy

Setup fees (hosted projects)
The $499+ setup fee for hosted projects is refundable in full if you cancel within 7 days of payment AND we have not started work. Once design or development work has begun, we refund the setup fee minus the hours already invested at our standard rate of $125/hr.
Setup fees (self-hosted projects)
Self-hosted (standalone build) projects require the full setup fee upfront. Refunds before kickoff follow the same 7-day rule. After work has started, the same $125/hr deduction applies. There is no recurring relationship to cancel.
Maintenance plans
Maintenance is billed in advance. Cancel any time from your account or by emailing support@oceanfrontdigitalsolutions.com. Your service continues until the end of the billing period; you are not charged again. We do not pro-rate partial-month refunds.
What happens to your site after maintenance is canceled
Hosted sites stay online through the end of your final paid billing period. After that, the site is taken offline because hosting, SSL, security, and backups are part of the maintenance plan. Your domain registration (if we manage it on your behalf) remains yours and is not affected.
Site export option
If you would like to keep your site after canceling maintenance and host it elsewhere, a one-time $750 site export fee covers:
- A complete export of source files (theme, plugins, custom code) and database
- A copy of all media assets stored on our infrastructure
- A 30-minute migration handover call so your new host can pick up cleanly
- Documentation of the original technical stack and any custom configuration
The export fee can be paid any time before or up to 30 days after your maintenance plan ends. After 30 days, files are removed from active backup.
Annual plans
If you cancel an annual maintenance plan within the first 30 days, we refund the difference between the annual rate and what you would have paid month-to-month for the months used. After 30 days, annual plans are non-refundable for unused time.
