The brief
The Walton County Fair needed a completely redesigned website to support and promote its historic 100th anniversary celebration while modernizing the organization’s digital presence for future events.
The goal was to create a centralized platform capable of handling schedules, registrations, maps, donations, announcements, and event communication for both attendees and participants. The website also needed to support the operational side of the fair by simplifying registrations and improving access to important information.
Following the success of the anniversary launch, the Walton County Fair continued using our services for ongoing website support, updates, and event-related digital initiatives.
What we built
We designed and developed a fully custom WordPress website tailored specifically to the Walton County Fair’s branding, event structure, and operational needs.
The platform includes Facebook and website calendar integration to streamline event promotion and maintain synchronized scheduling across platforms. Visitors can easily browse fair schedules, competitions, announcements, and special events through a centralized calendar experience.
To improve navigation during the fair, we developed a custom interactive map system that highlights parking locations, entrances, event areas, and important fairground locations.
We also implemented custom registration workflows for livestock and animal-related events, allowing participants to submit entries and required information digitally instead of relying on manual paperwork and email coordination.
The website includes donation payment processing integrations to support sponsorships, community contributions, and fair-related fundraising efforts through simplified online payments.
Beyond the website itself, we provided ongoing video and audio production services for fair events, helping support promotional content, live event operations, and multimedia coverage throughout the fair experience.
The platform was built to remain scalable and manageable for future annual fairs, allowing the organization to continue expanding digital services over time.
Results
The new website successfully modernized the Walton County Fair’s digital presence while supporting one of the organization’s most significant milestones: its 100th anniversary celebration.
